From 22–25 August 2026, partners from Greece, Romania, Portugal and Türkiye came together in Lefkada through the Bike & Music International Mobility, discovering how sport and culture can unite people beyond borders.

We started our journey by welcoming all participants and introducing them to the rich cultural heritage of Lefkada through a visit to the dancing group”Orfeas”, where the participants learned and experienced with local dancers traditional songs and dances.

The following day was dedicated to cultural exchange. Participants presented traditional songs, dances, costumes and musical instruments from their countries, sharing stories, traditions and customs while learning from one another. In the evening, they had the opportunity to attend the spectacular Grand Parade and the Opening Ceremony of the 64th Lefkas International Folklore Festival, experiencing one of Lefkada’s most important cultural celebrations.

The final activity day combined cycling with cultural exploration. They enjoyed a cycling tour around the beautiful Lefkada Lagoon, visited historical buildings and places with final destination the Museum of Lefkadian Culture, where they reflected on everything they had experienced and learned throughout the mobility.
