Let`s color Lefkada

In the frame of Let`s Color Lefkada the volunteers of Solidarity Tracks painted a new mural for the Music School in Lefkada. The mural has a big bumble bee playing the trumpet on a geometrical background. The theme is about creativity and music in particular. The aim is to inspire the students and all who pass by to do something creative and enjoy it. The mural also has an environmental sustainability message about the importance of bees to our food production and what we can do to help the bees in a changing world. Did you know that one third of the food we eat is only possible with the help of pollinating bees? We need the bees to thrive on this Earth, at least as much as they need us. The project was led by Omar Truco, an international artist who has previously collaborated with several murals in Lefkada. You can see photos of them in @tuliopaints Instagram account.
