Erasmus+ Sport – Capacity Building Project
CYCLEPATHS Training of Trainers will be hosted by ENVERÇEVKO Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection Association in Muğla, Türkiye on 28th of March to 3rd of April, 2026.
This activity is part of the Erasmus+ Sport project CYCLEPATHS (Project No. 101246042) and will gather participants from 5 countries.
Training Objectives
The training aims to:
- Build inclusive cycling coaching skills
- Develop competencies in adaptive cycling and accessibility
- Strengthen the capacity to organise inclusive group cycling initiatives
- Co-create an Inclusive Group Cycling Guide
- Build an international network for inclusive cycling
Training Topics Include:
- Cycling literacy & safe cycling practices
- Road safety & cycling equipment
- Adaptive cycling techniques & accessible route planning
- Organisation and management of cycling tours
- Camp-based cycling tours
- Motivation & leadership techniques
- Basic bicycle maintenance & repair
- Development of local partnerships
- Practical small-group cycling tours
- Creation of the Inclusive Group Cycling Guide
- Intercultural activities & local excursions
Who Can Apply?
We are looking for:
- Physical education teachers
- Sports trainers & educators
- Amateur or professional cyclists
- Volunteers involved in cycling activities
- Cycling enthusiasts
Applicants must:
- Be 18+ years old
- Be affiliated with an organisation (association, university, school, municipality, sports club, etc.)
- Commit to full participation (6 nights)
- Be motivated to organise at least one local cycling activity after the training
- Complete minimum 100 km cycling within 15 days before the training, recorded via STRAVA (CYCLEPATHS Club)
- Bring their own helmet and gloves
- Contribute actively to dissemination activities
Gender balance will be considered during selection.
Accommodation & Location
Muğla, Southern Aegean region of Türkiye
Accommodation will be provided for 6 nights at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Guesthouse (shared rooms).
Muğla is one of Türkiye’s most well-known regions for cycling routes, natural landscapes, and cultural heritage.
