“Take your chance: Go responsible!

Unlocking the potential of Youth Entrepreneurship through Responsible Tourism”

The project “Take your chance: GoResponsible! wants on one hand to reinforce the key competencies and entrepreneurial knowledge of young people in the Responsible Tourism (RT) through mentoring, non formal education, e-permanence support, and e-commerce tutorials and, on the other hand provide to the professionals working in the field of youth OER tools and resources adapted to their needs. In addition the consortium members will conduct research in their, local contexts in order to identify employment opportunities through entrepreneurship ̈ related to the RT and thus contribute to the development of favorable public policies. 

General objectives -Training young people far from employment and improve their key competencies and entrepreneurial skills in the RT field -Providing to the professionals working with youth, tools and methodologies for training and supporting young people in setting up micro enterprises in the RT sector -Promote the development of an environment conducive to the implementation of public policies regarding entrepreneurship in the region 

Specific objectives -Develop the entrepreneurial spirit among young people and thus contribute to the reduction of unemployment -Facilitating youth learning through non formal education by reducing geographical and learning disparities. -Promote the potential of ITCs in an entrepreneurial approach – Contribute to the development of the training offer through free educational resources for professionals. -Facilitate the sharing and exchange of good practices between the private and public sector. Make professionals and politicians aware of RT opportunities as a response to youth unemployment – Promote across sectoral and European network to facilitate the collection and analysis of data on youth employment opportunities linked to the RT 

The project is addressed to different 3 target groups – 80 Disadvantaged young people (unemployed, NEET, young people targeted by national policies for professional inclusion) – 315 Professionals working in the field of youth socio-professional inclusion and tourism Indirect -2000 Institutional and private actors intervening in the field of youth employment social entrepreneurship and Tourism tourist offices elected representatives authorities 

Outputs – Output 1: Study – State of arts and best practices on entrepreneurship in the filed of RT – Output 2: Digital mapping- responsible tourism initiatives – Support to Solidarity tracks for the realization of the Mentoring guide (IO3) – Support to BAAT for the realization of the pedagogical modules on RT (IO4) – Output 5: Tutorial on e-commerce – Output 6: European Portal on Responsible Tourism (Platform)
