Youth entrepreneurship: Potential for Youth and Community

“Youth entrepreneurship: Potential for Youth and Community” was a training course for young youth-workers. The aim was to contribute for the development of youth entrepreneurship and for creative activity of young people.

It took place in Lefkas, for 7 days, from 17 to 25 of June 2008, with participation of 24 young people and youth worker from 10 euro-mediterrnean countries: Greece, France, Poland, Italy, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Tunisia, Algeria, Morroco and Egypt.

The activities of out training was: presentation of participating NGOs, presentation of good practices on the topic of entrepreneurship, presentation of Youth in Action program, workshops on stereotypes, the profile of young entrepreneur, methodology of the project, open space for future projects, visit to the traditional factory of wine and olive oil, Greek lessons, workshops and reflection groups about the topic.

This training course was supported by Youth in Action Programme and The Institute for Youth.
