Dialogue and Cooperation – Cooperation with Civil Society: Education, Training and Youth

Our project ” E-youth patrimony “is a network strategic project which brings together a network of 16 youth organizations from 14 European countries to exchange their practices and their experiences on the accompaniment and support of young crafters, the development of their skills and their integration in professional market and setting up together activities to support the young crafters of our communities.
This networking project aims also to set up common projects for young people of different profiles and abilities in the field of craft and handmade creations or in other interested topics that occupy our youngsters.
Our project has 3 components:
1- Establishment and follow-up a strategic cooperation plan to support young crafters and to integrate them into professional life.
2- Exchanging good practices in youth work between partners.
3- Cooperate in common projects of common interest that meet the needs of our young people & our communities: Volunteering / exchanges / training / youth initiatives / professional internships ….
Our project can last 3 years. For 2018, 5 statutory meetings have been scheduled. Each meeting brings together 8 partners from 8 of the 16 members of our network.
Our plan for 2018 is as follows:
1- Two “transnational contact meetings“: will bring together different partners for two days to discuss the objectives, to define the way of cooperation and expected results. They will also define the role of each for the preparation and implementation of our strategic plan. A report of each meeting will be prepared & shared with all partners.
2– A survey will be conducted for young people involved in the craft industry from each partner country, responding to the following elements:
– The reality of craft trades business in each partner country
– The involvement of young people in these professions
– How the state and local authorities encourage young people to get involved in craft trades business
– The problems encountered in this sector
– The awareness of young people for the value of crafts for saving and giving additional value to our cultural heritage.
– The needs of young people to develop their skills and to invest in this sector.
NB: We mean with the craft, any handmade creation.

Each partner will involve in the survey at least 20 amateur or professional crafters. (Deadline 10/10/2018)
3– The analyze of the survey will be conducted by experts & disseminated for all partners at 20/10/2018.
4– Two network meetings, which will bring together different partners ( 8 partners for each) for 2 days. During those meetings, based on the results of the survey, the partners will plan together the activities that should meet the needs of young crafters. They will also plan youth projects together about other topics .
5- Creating an interface on our Youth Entrepreneur Club platform (youtheclub.eu) that can offer online assistance, training and support for young crafters . One of our staff will carry this interface and will be in touch with you to update the services and to improve the quality of support for our youngsters.
6- One local event, can be organized by each partner organization, will bring together young people from the local community , local partners, entrepreneurs in the field of craft, policy makers and the media, to present the interface created & to link young people to the professional and the decisions-makers. Our partners try to involve young people with fewer opportunities (disable, marginalized, isolated …).
7- Experimentation of the digital interface by young crafters with the support of partner organizations. They will test the services offered, share their experiences and knowledge, and raise the points that can be improved.
8- Two 2-day meetings will bring together different partners to:
* evaluate the performance of our network
* evaluate the performance of the interface as well as the impact on the local young crafters.
* define with the partners the strategic plan of cooperation on the base of the the achieved results & planning the activities for 2019 and 2020 to ensure the sustainability and reinforcement of our network. A meeting report will be sent to the partners for each meeting by the coordinator.
